Meet Our Team!

Cathy Kuindersma

B.Sc., N.D.


Cathy graduated from the University of Guelph in 1988 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree. She then completed the four year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1993. After successfully completing her board exams in 1994, she started her naturopathic family practice in Georgetown and has been practicing in the community for the past 28 years.

Health is a reflection of one’s physical, emotional and spiritual balance. Cathy is committed to helping her patients overcome their obstacles to achieve this balance. Her goal is to inspire her patients to make changes in their health that will allow them to live full, healthy and happy lives.

Cathy has completed many advance courses including Bioidentical Hormones, Clinical Nutrition, Bio-therapeutic Drainage, Botanical Medicine, Integrative Oncology and Environmental Medicine to name a few. She continues to attend lectures, conferences and courses in order to stay current with naturopathic treatments and research. She successfully completed the prescribing requirements exam in 2015.

Cathy resides in Georgetown with her family and her two dogs. She loves the outdoors and will be found on the Bruce Trail most days with her dogs when she is not in clinic.

Vaidehi Patel

B.Sc., N.D.


Vaidehi obtained the Doctor of Naturopathy degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Prior to graduating from the 4 year naturopathic program, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from McMaster University in Hamilton.

Vaidehi uses the healing power of natural therapies to help you achieve your health goals. Through an individualized and detailed treatment plan, she addresses the root cause of your health concerns. Vaidehi creates a safe space for you to feel heard, understood, and empowered about your health. She is committed to supporting you through your health journey.

In her free time, Vaidehi enjoys hiking, reading spiritual books, playing badminton and spending time with her friends and family.

Genevieve Stewart

HON B.A., KIN, R.M.T., D.O.(M.P.)


Genevieve Stewart has an undergraduate degree in Honours Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario (1997), a diploma in Massage Therapy from Sutherland-Chan (1999) and a diploma in Osteopathy from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (2009). Gen has been in practice since 1999 and has been focused on osteopathic work since 2005. Gen resides in Georgetown with her husband and four young children.

Sandy Charlton

B. Sc., CAT(C), D.O.M.P.


Sandy Charlton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Certificate in Athletic Therapy at York University and has received her diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice from the Canadian College of Osteopathy. She has worked with many sports teams including the Toronto Phantoms Professional Arena Football team, the Canadian National Deaf Olympic Hockey team, Oakville Ice of the National Women’s Hockey League and the Mississauga Tomahawks of the Junior A Lacrosse League. Sandy has been focused on osteopathic manual therapy since 2005. Sandy resides in Caledon with her husband and three young children.

Nancy Britton

B.A.


Nancy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph in 1989. In the mid-1990’s, during a personal health crisis, Nancy sought the care of a naturopathic doctor. It was her road to health through naturopathic medicine that led her, in 1988, to start Koru, a mobile electrodermal screening service. Nancy trained in electrodermal screening with a Toronto naturopathic physician and one of the most experienced electrodermal screening (EDS) technicians in Canada. In addition, she has completed numerous training sessions provided by the software manufacturer, Biomeridian International. Gavin Fisk

C.Ac., R.M.T.


As a practitioner of Contemporary Acupuncture and a Registered Massage Therapist, Gavin has been assisting individuals reach their highest level of health for several years. He received his RMT training at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2009, then completed his certificate in Contemporary Acupuncture in 2011 from McMaster University Health Sciences. Gavin has developed his practice in Sport Injury Therapy and also specializes in Relaxation Massage Therapy. Gavin continues to enhance his quality of care by currently attending The Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto. Gavin personally understands the importance of pain management and improving one’s physical health. As a former elite-level athlete, he still skies, snowboards, coaches ski racing and participates in various water sports. “I look forward to working with you at GNWC and supporting you on your journey to healthy living and inspiring you to your highest level of health.”
